PRESIDENTIAL POWER

In 2019, I was 8 years old and dreaming big enough to invite cancer cure advocate Joe Biden to a race I was running in Delaware. Mr. Biden sent letters to two kids with cancer and me.

The Moonshot

On the same weekend as the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon, I went to a baseball game at Wrigley Field. Before the game, I met cancer survivor and Cubs all-star Anthony Rizzo. I gave him a note asking him to hit a "moonshot" for kids with cancer. He hit a game-winning grand slam.
